James has worked in corporate restructuring for over 14 years. He has advised a variety of stakeholders including corporates, banks, bondholders and shareholders on restructuring assignments including financial restructurings, cash management and reporting, financial forecasting and business planning, interim management services and independent business reviews.
Prior to joining Talbot Hughes McKillop, James worked in corporate restructuring at Ernst & Young and Andersen.
Major Recent Projects
- Adviser to the Board of Scholz Holding GmbH, a global metals recycling business, during the restructuring of its €1 billion of debt.
- Sales adviser to the Security Agent of Rijnmond Energie C.V., an 810MW CCGT power plant located in Rotterdam, following the commencement of enforcement proceedings.
- Adviser to the Board of Endeka Ceramics, a Spanish based global supplier of raw materials to the building products industry, approved to oversee the financial restructuring of its €265 million of debt.
- Interim management support to the Board of Eggborough Power Limited following the company’s acquisition by its lenders.
