CRO and Interim Management

It is now an established feature of UK and European restructurings to appoint a chief restructuring officer (CRO) to distressed businesses requiring financial and/or operational restructuring. THM was one of the first European firms to identify this requirement and deliver this critical “hands-on” service. If appropriate we can take an executive and/or board appointment as CRO, CEO, CFO or Chairman in order to drive through the necessary changes or to cover positions pending permanent replacements.

The key requirements for an effective CRO include a senior, experienced and trusted restructuring professional with the credibility to win the confidence of all parties interested in the restructuring, including incumbent management and the key stakeholders. This requires a proven track record, hands-on, proactive management in-situ, combined with the ability to bring disparate parties together in complex and often confrontational situations in order to deliver a consensual transaction.
