Carly has over eleven years experience in restructuring assignments and bank investigations across a number of industries and European countries. She specialises in acting for secured lenders and corporate clients experiencing financial distress.

Major Experiences

Prior to joining Talbot Hughes McKillop, Carly was in the corporate restructuring practices of Andersen and Ernst & Young. Carly also spent one year on secondment to a major investment bank’s Bank Debt Portfolio Group.

Major Recent Projects

  • Advising the board of directors of TMD Friction, a major global automotive component manufacturer, on the financial restructuring of the group’s €1 billion debt.
  • Advising a hospitality business with turnover of £100 million on restructuring its banking facilities, cash flow management and operational improvement.
  • Conducting an independent business review of two divisions of a global support services organisation with revenues of c£1 billion.
  • While on secondment at the investment bank, Carly managed a number of clients through the restructuring process. These clients had revenues varying from €500 million to €50 billion and were involved in industry sectors as diverse as telecoms, retailing and manufacturing.
  • Conducting an independent business review and cash flow monitoring of a global chemical manufacturer with a turnover of approximately CHF1.2 billion.
